Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico in a family who was devoted to music. The majority of her early years listening to classic music Boleros from the past, classic ranchero or romantic tunes and old classical pieces. Ana is an avid fan of tangos. Also, she loves operas and any form theatrical performance. Ana began learning and singing music with her mother, and commenced more serious training in singing when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. As a student and as a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups as well as choruses. After moving to America, United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she moved to Southern California. She's a regular solo performer at private parties and events singing traditional Latin American Music. She is passionate about the performing arts, music, and the arts keeps active in community projects both as an artist and teacher. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates being able to share her passion and enthusiasm for traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to instill a sense of, especially among younger generations, to help keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
